Services
A part goes through several stages from drawing to mass production: material selection, design, sampling, validation and mass production. Each stage has different problems. GREENPOLYMER offers services for each stage. You can come to us at any stage.

Services at a glance
1Material selection
Not sure which material to use, or want to replace the current one
- What it solves
Finding, among many candidate materials, a grade that meets the part's requirements at a reasonable cost.
- How we do it
We turn your requirements into testable targets (flammability rating and thickness, HDT, low-temperature impact, chemical resistance, appearance) and compare them with grade data to recommend 1–3 candidate grades.
- Replacing a current material
Tell us the material you use now and its key values. We list the comparison items and the items that need to be validated again.
- You get
A list of candidate grades, a comparison note, validation advice and samples.
2Part design advice and mold flow support
Worried about short shots, warpage or cracked screw bosses
- What it solves
The material is right, but the part design or mold layout causes defects.
- How we do it
Based on the material's properties, we give advice on wall thickness, ribs, screw bosses, snap fits and gate locations. When needed, we run mold flow analysis with your mold team to check filling, weld lines and warpage.
- You get
Part design recommendations, the material data needed for mold flow analysis, and a review of the results.
3Custom compounding
No standard grade meets all requirements at once
- What it solves
No standard grade meets the flame retardancy, toughness, flow, appearance and environmental requirements at the same time.
- How we do it
We adjust the formulation by reinforcing, toughening, filling and blending. Common directions:
- Thin-wall flame-retardant grades: higher flow while keeping the flammability rating;
- Low-temperature toughness: better impact performance at −20 °C to −40 °C;
- Halogen-free / fluorine-free: formulations designed to your restricted substance list;
- Recycled material: recycled content added while meeting the performance requirements (-R versions).
- You get
Samples of the custom formulation, a draft TDS and validation data.
4Color matching
Need brand colors that stay the same from batch to batch
- What it solves
Brand colors must be accurate, with small color differences between production batches.
- How we do it
The Shenzhen Color Matching Center matches colors to RAL or Pantone codes or to your physical color sample. Color is added during compounding and pelletizing, which gives a more even color than adding masterbatch at molding. After color matching we confirm key properties such as flammability and weathering again.
- Please provide
Color code or color sample, gloss level, viewing light source and color difference (ΔE) acceptance criteria.
- You get
Color plaques and a color matching record.
For color matching lead times and costs, see the FAQ.

5Sampling, small batches and validation
Need samples and small-batch parts quickly
- What it solves
New parts need samples quickly and validation before mass production.
- How we do it
The Dongguan Development Center handles sampling and small-batch trial production for customer projects. Role of the Dongguan Development Center: [to be verified by GREENPOLYMER]. On request, we test properties on standard test specimens, or support your tests on the finished product.
- Tests we can arrange
Melt flow rate, tensile, flexural, impact, heat deflection, burning tests to the UL 94 method, glow-wire, tracking, xenon-arc / UV aging, color difference and more (see the list of test capabilities on Quality and sustainability). When a third-party report is needed, we can send samples to a third-party lab on request.
- You get
Sample parts or samples, test records and a validation summary.
6Supply and technical support in mass production
Worried about batch variation, delivery or line issues
- Batch documents
Each delivery comes with a certificate of analysis (COA) that records key values. To be corrected by GREENPOLYMER.
- Processing support
When you move into mass production, we give advice on drying, temperatures and process settings. If appearance or dimensional problems occur, we help find the cause.
- Problem handling
After a quality complaint, we trace raw materials and production records by batch number, then give an analysis and corrective actions.
For minimum order quantities (MOQ) and lead times, see the FAQ.
Documents and testing
| Documents | Description |
|---|---|
| TDS (technical data sheet) | Chinese and English, per grade |
| SDS (safety data sheet) | Chinese and English, per grade |
| RoHS, REACH and other test reports | Per grade. Certificate to be uploaded |
| Halogen and fluorinated substance tests | Arranged according to your substance list |
| Recycled content traceability documents | Provided with -R versions. Certificate to be uploaded |
| Third-party test reports | Can be arranged on request |
How we state flammability: for our own tests we write "tested to the UL 94 method"; "UL 94 certified" is used only after certification.
