Material and formulation
Existing models; or a formulation adjusted to target properties (toughness, heat resistance, flow, print speed, flame retardancy and so on)

RFID / NFC tags
Many printers can read a tag on the spool and recognize the material, color and print settings automatically. GREENPOLYMER can fit tags on spools and write data to them as agreed.
Per your specification
You provide the tag type, data format and writing requirements; GREENPOLYMER fits the tags, writes the data to specification and spot-checks reading
Open standard OpenPrintTag
OpenPrintTag is a public NFC filament tag standard using NFC-V (ISO/IEC 15693) tags that can be read and written offline. Data can include material, brand, color, temperatures, weight, length, diameter, production date and more. Suits brands that want an open format
Printer makers' proprietary systems
Some printers use the maker's own tags and data formats. GREENPOLYMER implements these only to specification, after obtaining permission and the technical specification from that maker or from you. GREENPOLYMER does not crack or copy proprietary tags
Tag chips, writing equipment and data content are confirmed at the start of the project.
The written content matches the actual production data of the batch, including batch number and production date.
Whether GREENPOLYMER already has an RFID writing line and which chips it supports: to be verified by GREENPOLYMER.
How we work together
1Requirements
Brand, target market, printer models, materials, colors, specifications, packaging and expected volume. An NDA can be signed first.
2Proposal and quotation
GREENPOLYMER proposes models or formulations, a packaging plan and a quotation.
3Sampling
Private-label samples of standard models usually take 3–7 working days; custom color or formulation samples usually take 1–3 weeks.
4Customer testing
You test print results and settings on your target printers.
5Approval
Samples, color plaques, labels and packaging artwork are approved as the production standard.
6Trial and mass production
Mass production follows the first trial batch. Each batch comes with inspection records.
7Ongoing support
Batch traceability, issue feedback and settings updates.
Confidentiality
Your formulation requirements, colors, packaging designs and tag data are used only for your project. Without your consent, GREENPOLYMER does not name you as a customer on its website or in promotional materials.
