Quality control
GREENPOLYMER controls filament quality at four stages: raw materials, the production process, finished products and batch traceability.
GREENPOLYMER's actual inspection equipment, frequencies and targets: to be verified by GREENPOLYMER. Certificate to be uploaded.
Raw material inspection
Melt flow rate (MFR)
Melt is pushed through a die at a set temperature and load; cuts taken at fixed intervals are weighed
- Melt flow rate (MFR): Confirms consistent flow between raw material batches
Raw material inspection · Production process control
Moisture and drying
- Moisture: Confirms the raw material is properly dried, to avoid bubbles
- Drying: Dried by material before packaging; moisture of hygroscopic materials meets spec before packaging
Production process control
Diameter and ovality
The filament runs between two crossed laser gauges; the shadow width gives its diameter in two directions, and their difference its ovality
- Diameter: Inline laser gauging, monitored continuously; ±0.03 mm (to be verified by GREENPOLYMER)
- Ovality: Calculated from two-axis gauging; ≤0.03 mm
Finished product inspection
Mechanical properties
A dumbbell specimen is pulled at a constant speed and the stress–strain curve is recorded until it breaks
- Mechanical properties: Tensile specimens printed and tested to ISO 527-2 (sampling)

- Each spool label carries the model, color number and batch number.
- The batch number traces back to raw material batches, production date, production line and inspection records.
- OEM customers can ask for a QR code printed on the spool label, or for the batch number written to the RFID / NFC tag.
Test reports and certificates
- Models in regular supply come with a TDS and SDS, in Chinese and English.
- RoHS, REACH and other test reports are provided per model.
- Management system and product certificates: Certificate to be uploaded.
